十数年前に耳に蛸ができるんではないかという位聴きました。

杏里の初のバラード集だったのではないかと記憶してますが・・・（間違っていたらご免ください）

「オーヴァーシー・コール」は当時、スキーのＴＶ番組のエンディングで流れていた、とても感じさせるバラードです。

特に杏里のバラードの中で一番の名曲ではないかと信じて疑わないのは

「オール・オブ・ユー」、・・・これです。

最高です。

いくつかの杏里のベスト盤には殆んど必ずと云って良い位、収録されている唄の一つで、何かの劇の主題歌にも使われたような記憶が有ります。
（歌詞が違っていたような気がしましたが・・・）

「赤いパスポート、ギュッと握って、高鳴る胸の・・・」

「赤いパスポート」ですから少し時代を感じさせますが、この歌詞が何とも物語が目の前の展開されるようで良かったです、名曲は名曲です。

杏里の唄う歌詞は、女性の切ない想いを歌い上げるのが多く、これがまた良いのですが、「ALL OF YOU」ではそれが特に際立っていると思います。

全曲LOVEバラードで構成されています。バラードを歌わせたらNo.1！！言葉をひとつひとつ紡いでいく様なその歌い方に、杏里のひたむきさと強さを感じるとともに、本当に彼女の美しい声が引き立ちます。

未だ若かりし頃、このCDを繰り返し繰り返し聴いていた時代が
ありました。たまたまCATS EYEが売れ出した頃、大学の学園祭に
彼女が来てくれて（その会場整理に当たった1回生の小生は随分苦労
しましたわ）個人的なｼﾝﾊﾟｼｰもあるし、ﾃﾞﾋﾞｭｰ時の「ｵﾘﾋﾞｱを~」を
知っている世代の人間としては待ちに待った企画ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑでした。
この人のﾊﾞﾗｰﾄﾞの良さは多分に声質と歌い方によると感じています。
決して良い声とは言えない（ファンの方、御免なさい）にしても
普通っぽい声質で普通の語り口で歌を綴っている感じというか
その辺に各人がそれぞれの思いを投影できる素養があるのではない
でしょうか？
