１曲目のcream sodaが流れてきた瞬間から彼等の魅力に取り付かれてしまった。何一つ特別な事はやっていないのに、最高にカッコイイ音楽を聴かせてくれるじゃないの！それもアルバム全曲を通して。

可能性に満ちた原石達が等身大のロックを青森から届けてくれたこのデビュー作は、日本のロックシーンの中でも重要な作品であることは間違いない。

スーパーカーの１枚目にして１９曲も入ったフルアルバム。

荒削りだけど、溢れる才能。初期衝動だけでは鳴らせない音をまざまざと見せ付けられた。
９０年代末、くるり、ナンバーガールと並び評されていた日本のロックの名盤です。
２００７年の今でも若々しい輝きを放っていますね。

ノイズやゴリゴリした音質もこのアルバムの作品の一部です。
スピーカーから爽やかな風が吹き抜けますよ。

かなりボリュームのある一枚。
初めてスーパーカーに触れる方はこれを強くお勧めします。

今でも購入した時のことを鮮明に覚えている。それまで洋楽がしか聞かなかった僕は、初めて洋楽・邦楽というカテゴリーを越えて、良質な音楽という視点から音楽に接する機会・認識を得た。それがこのアルバムだった。

鮮明に耳に残るギターサウンド、普遍的なメロディとポップセンス。ジャケットの色のごとく、曲はどこまでも青く日常を紡ぎ出す。

アルバムが発売された１９９８年当時、日本は大不況のトンネルを抜け出せずにいた。そんな時代背景の下、青森からスーパーカー、福岡博多からナンバーガール、京都からくるり、東京の郊外から中村一義が頭角を現し、今日まで日本のミュージックシーンを大きく変えてきた。

音楽は時代から逃れられない。このアルバムは９０年代のマスターピースであり、永遠に僕達の歌である。
