原曲はクラシックだったり、ポップスやイージーリスニングのスタンダードだったりして、曲名は知らなくてもたいていの人が聞いたことがあると思える曲がほとんどです。
しかし、その聴いたことのある曲をこんな風に演奏し、歌っているのを聴いたことがある人はあまりないのでは？

キーボードによるテクノで無機質なサウンド。その無機質さに合わせるかのような、肉声でありながら浮遊感にあふれ生身の人間から乖離したボーカル。それでいて、ただ冷たいだけのそれこそ無機質な音楽になっていないのは、丁寧に重ねられた多重録音によるハーモニーの美しさとクリスタルを思わせる音の美しさがあるからです。

原曲がクラシックであろうと、トラディショナルであろうと、彼女たちの手にかかると、刺激的なアレンジを施され、"エキセントリック・オペラの曲"としか表現しようのない独自の宇宙に連れて行かれてしまいます。

原曲はクラシックなのに、音楽はテクノ。透き通るような歌声と、幻想的なサウンド。初めて聴くのにすんなりと体の中に入ってくる。そんなＣＤだと思います。機械的な音って冷たいイメージがあるけれど、なんだか暖かさを感じるような音で、それをやさしく歌声が包み込んでいるように思いました。

大人の方々にとっては懐かしい曲がたくさん、
若い人が聴いたらその新鮮さに驚愕。
さすが実力派の力のこもった作品。
もしこのCDの１番を夜中に聞いてしまったら、背筋に寒気がはしるくらい感動してしまう。
この洗練された音、精妙なリズム、稠密な曲。
私は声を大にしてこのCDを推薦します
