個人的には、遊佐未森全作品の中でも３番目くらいに好きな作品なので、他の方の評価の低さにびっくりしました。

とにかく、純粋にいい楽曲が多いです。アレンジは、「アカシア」（これも好きですけど）と同じく、外間隆史＋富田恵一（今や売れっ子）のコンビなのですが、前作では少々前に出すぎていたオケが、少し後ろにひっこんだのが、絶妙なバランスになって、非常に完成度の高い、統一感のあるアルバムに仕上がっていると思います。

曲の中でお勧めなのは、なんと言っても「潮見表」で、これまで遊佐さんは、こういう母性的な曲は意外とやってなかったのですが、見事にはまっています。

また、「アネモネ」で聴ける遊佐坊自ら弾くピアノの音は、エリック・サティや細野晴臣を思わせる、素朴ですが!味わいのある音で、遊佐未森の音楽家としての幅の広さをうかがわせます。

冒頭の「ロカ」というのは、５拍子の曲なのですが、まったく普通のポップスとして聴けてしまいます。こういう、さりげなく技を見せるところも好きです。

個人的にはこのアルバムか、次作「ECHO」が彼女の最高傑作だと思います。
ナイトノイズとの共演、アイルランドでの録音はなにより彼女のルーツ「日本」をより強く意識させる結果となったようです。

西洋風に声量で圧倒させるのではなく（もちろんベースのひとつではあるけど）フォルセットと地声の絶妙なミックスボイスで浮遊し、時に囁き、リスナーの原風景を描き出していく様は彼女でしか得られない感覚ではないでしょうか。
ナイトノイズの演奏も「熱気」より「間」を生かしたという印象。彼女の意向を汲んだ素晴らしいバッキング。

あとやっぱり外間隆史氏の楽曲は相性抜群！です。

これで傑作じゃないわけがないじゃない！

商業的成功を収めていた工藤順子＆外間隆史楽曲から
徐々に独自色を強め、
内省的になっていった遊佐未森のEpic最後の作品。
「外間隆史」「ナイトノイズ」に期待して聞くと
肩透かしを食らいます。
これはあくまで彼女独自の世界。
「クローバー」「あけび」「アカシア」といった、地味な曲こそが
実は彼女の本当に目指していた音楽のような気がします。

余分なものをここまでそぎ落とすというのはある意味、
勇気のいることだと思います。
アレンジの妙やメロディーラインの美しさは他のアルバムに譲るけれど、
このアルバムには研ぎすまされた調和の美学のようなものを感じます。
