初期の音源が初ＣＤ化された80年代後半、それまでアナログを聴いていた私はすべて買い揃えたほどのファンです。そのＣＤ達も何度も聴くうち、ボロボロになってしまい買い換えようと考えこのＣＤ選書盤を購入しました。

ところがこのＣＤおかしいのか？不良品？と思いびっくりしたのだ。なんと歌詞がカット!!!されているではないか！なじみのない無音状態・・・悲しかった。なんで？思わずレコード会社に問合せしようかと思ったくらいだ。よくよく考えてみると、そうか”あの歌詞”は放送禁止になったのかと納得させられました。

気がつけば、昔購入したＣＤを聴き続ける私がいます。歌詞カードも何か重みもないし、廉価版で仕方のないことか・・・
音源は何度でも聴き続けることのできるほどの出来なのに、惜しい！

~このアルバム"news beat”については文句なし５STARというか、
日本のROCKにおける名盤の一つといっても言い過ぎではないと思いますが、
ＣＤ選書として再販されたこれはヒドイ。

『ご・め・ん・だ・ぜ』、『DO THE~~ MONKEY』の歌詞一部（放送禁止用語）に
ピー音が被さっています。
時代のせいなんでしょうけど、懐かしくて思わず買ってしまった往年のfanは
ガッカリすること間違い無し。

『ゴキゲンRADIO』と『ハートに火をつけて』が連続演奏されて、
『ゴキゲンRADIO』最後、森ヤンの「もっかい」が堪能できず。。。
ムカツク編集です。
