15年も前のCDだが、その内容はすばらしい。
80年代には、ちゃんと流行のバンドが大人の恋を歌っていたことに感激する。しばらくお蔵入りしていたこのCDを再び聞いて、音質のよさにもびっくりした。たいていのポピュラー音楽のCDは聞いていて気持ちが悪くなるほど音が悪いが、このCDはそんなことにはならない。プロの仕事を感じさせる１枚。

刺激的な歌詞。
心奪われるリズム。
も~~~~う、大好き！！
バービーを初めて耳にしたのは中学生時代
でした。友達からダビングしてもらったカセット。
あれから１０数年・・
改めて手にしたＣＤ。
もう、絶対手放しません。

目を閉じておいでよ、は言うに及ばず。
さぁ どうしよう
噂ばなしはM4
せまってデイ・バイ・デイ
赤裸々な男の心情が見事に描かれている。
その正直さとクールさに惹きつけられる。

chibiは、かわいい曲。
抱きしめたくなる。

今の若い人たちにも、是非聴いて欲しい。
ちゃんとした歌詞。
ちゃんとしたリズム。
何でもかんでも「今の若い者は」と
眉をひそめたりはしないけど・・・
こんなにも「ちゃんとした」格好良さ、
が有ることを、知ってもらいたい。

　たいていのロック・ポピュラーのアルバムは意図したものか、前のほうに出来の良い曲を持ってくる傾向があるが、本作もその例に洩れず、始めから４曲目までは良い。その後も、やや退屈だがそれほど酷くもない。独特の軽さと悲しさを持った声とサウンドは一聴の価値ありか。
