飾らない生の感情を、生な感じのする歌声で、さらっと歌う。The CHANGの曲は、私の中ではそんな印象です。
初めて知ったのは、たぶん『今日の雨はいい雨だ』。そして、それが今でも私のお気に入りの1曲であり、聴くたびに、懐かしさと新鮮さが入り混じるような感覚になります。
フォーク調の雰囲気を漂わせている曲が多いので、「昭和の喫茶店に似合いそう」とも思うのですが、でも決して古いわけではなく、多くの人が若さゆえに感じる怠惰感を歌っている分、むしろ普遍的な音楽なのかな、という気もします。
派手さはないけれど、聴いた人の心にはずっとどこかに残っている。そんなアルバムではないでしょうか。

現在TICAで活躍中の石井マサユキさんが所属した、今はなきグレートバンドのファースト。大名曲「今日の雨はいい雨だ」「毎日を変えておくれ」などを収録した一生物の超名盤!!!!聴かないと絶対に後悔するぞ。
ちなみにプロデューサーは屋敷豪太さん。

サウンドは意図的に古さを醸し出そうとしている？歌詞とボーカルは肩の力が抜けまくってます。朝一番で聞くとやる気を削がれること請け合い！疲れたときの癒しに最適。
