名曲「もう涙はいらない」収録。「刑事貴族2」のエンディングテーマで中学生の自分はこれで鈴木雅之を知りました。水谷豊のダンディーさと、東京というスタイリッシュさへの憧れは、そのまま鈴木のこの大人なカッコよさとだぶって映ったものです。

2は名曲の後を任される5番バッターのような大事な役割ですが、きちんと前曲のクオリティを継ぐムードをもちます。リスナーを充分満足させてくれる曲調ですね。この顧客満足度という点では、作品全体、いや鈴木雅之の作品というのは常にそうなのかなと思いました。6の「さよならいとしの〜」なんて最高の曲が一曲目のカップリングだったんですからね。本当に全曲いいです。ホーンセクションが彼ほど似合うミュージシャンはいないかも。

10「Come on in」の英語曲から漂ってくるキラキラした香しさは、鈴木というデザートのいちばんおいしいところかも。11も同様に極上のスイーツです。この詞のかっこよさ（キザさ）は鈴木かゴスペラーズのようなグループだけに許される男らしさかな。
甘美さにおいては、矢沢のコクとは違う、キレが魅力ですね。そして艶も香りも。これが10年後の今も続いてるというのは、これから先も彼の歌声が枯れることがない泉であるかのような気がします。
