細野氏の作品も聞き続けてきたが、忘れたころにもう一度聞きたいのは「フィルハーモニー」とこの作品。1曲目の音楽が流れはじめて、ゆっくりと確実に異世界に入ってゆく。静かな重さと軽やかさの混在した作り。YMOの「テクノドン」もこの作品の延長上にあると私は思っている。細野作品のキーポイントにある重要作品の一つではないでしょうか？

~矢野顕子参加のセルフカバーHoney Moon（オリジナルはトロピカル・ダンディー）が入っているこのアルバム、meditine....meditation（瞑想）というコンセプトからもわかるように、限りなく静謐な音空間が広がって、アンビエントの一つの極北とも言えるような作品になった。

時期的には、細野晴臣の最高傑作の一つであるOmni Sight~~ Seeingの後、そしてさらに徹底したアンビエントから再び多様な活動に入る近年の時期の間にあって、その両方の雰囲気が同居している感じ。

ただ、基本的には、「より静かに、より穏やかに」という方向へさらに踏み込んでいく、という重心の取り方をしており、一日中かけていてもじゃまにならないかわりに、深く心に何かが残るような感じでもないので、その辺気分に応じて評価がずいぶん変わる作品だと思う。~

　この作品は、過激なオジサン細野晴臣氏のアンビエント時代のアルバムだ。疲れた事務員、疲れ切ったデイトレイダーには、是非一度拝聴を。
　少しでも、多くあの人に、印税を儲けていただいて、又、ヨーロッパに進出していただこう。
