リアルタイムでリリースされていた時は必死になって追っていた。
今、こうしてリリースされたものをひとまとめにして聴けるのは
今の時代ならではである。
リリースされた時のリアルタイムの体験の思い出は今の時代では
感じられなくても、出会えた喜びは今の人も昔の人も変わらない。

元春が日本のロックスターへ駆け上がった軌跡を追うことが出来る、うれしい2枚組みです。アルバム収録曲もさることながら、ノリノリR&Rの「Lookin' for a fight」、NYに留学（？）中にドラッグで死んだ友達を歌った「Shadows of the street」などは何回も何回も聞きました。
元春ファン必携のCDです。

「♪サムデイ」は、青春の1ページです。なんだか、挫折したり、凹んだときに、この曲を聴くたびに･･･元気が出たものです。白井　貴子さんも歌ってますが、両方とも大好きです。
