5.0 out of 5 stars グレイテスト・ヒッツに恥じないアルバム！, 2003/8/10
　MISSING YOUのヒット（82年当時）でこのアルバムを聴き、初めてダン・フォーゲルバーグの作品に触れました。ひじょうに素朴でかつ落ちついた感じのあるものの結構引き締まった完成度の高いサウンドだと思います。まさにグレイテスト・ヒッツといったアルバムです。

　決してハードロック・ファンにはお勧めしませんが（ジャンルでいうとAORといったところか？）ビリー・ジョエルあたりが好きな方には受け容れて頂けるのではないでしょうか？
　最近こういったサウンドのアーティスト、アルバムがほとんど無くなってしまったのが残念です。（ダン・フォーゲルバーグはまだまだ活動中！）

　ダン・フォーゲルバークの「ロンガー」「セイム・オールド・ラング・サイン」「リーダー・オブ・ザ・バンド」、何でもあなたの心の琴線に触れることがありましたら是非このベスト磐から手にとってみてください。

　1982年にでたアルバムですが、この後大きなヒット曲がないダンですが、この後20年間も素晴らしい作品を生みつづけています。この人の作品を聴いていると、本当に良い作品を作り続けることと自分の生活を大切にすることを重要視しているアーティストだと思います。

　ヒット曲はもういらないんですね。もう累積で1000万枚以上売れているのですから…。最近「スーパーヒッツ」などのベストものの企画はありますが、ファン歴14年（Since 1988）、オリジナルアルバムをコンプリートし、ビデオ、ボックスセットやベスト集もほぼそろえている私から、ダン・フォーゲルバーグの世界を知りたい方でしたら、この「Greatest Hits」をお薦めします！
