　このアルバムが一番分かり易い。korn聴く人って大体３枚目のfollow the leaderから入るけど、これを最初に聴くのが一番でしょう。自分的に好きなのは10,14だけど例えば6,11は言わずと知れた彼らの人気曲で、他の曲もノリノリで聴けるのばっか。ただ勘違いしないで欲しいのは、彼らがいわゆるミクスチャ-のパイオニアだとか代表格だとか思う人多いみたいだけど、今ミクスチャーと呼ばれてる奴らとくらべてかなり異質！ギターは二本でありえない絡み方するし、ドラムもタイトでスネアカツンカツンなのに凄いなめらかなフレーズも叩くし。でも一番凄いと言うか、特徴的なのはやはりボーカルのジョナサンとベースのフィールディ。フィールディのベースは骨が軋むみたいで一種怖気の走るような音なんだけどめっちゃ好き！彼のプレイは10が一番堪能できるでしょう。ジョナサンは、黙って聴くべ!!し。それで５人で音出すと圧巻！他のバンドの音が頭掴まれて揺すぶられる感じだとしたら（揺すぶられないのもあるけど）、kornには心臓直に掴まれて揺すぶられる感じ！実際ライブも（ファミリーバリューズ観たら）奴らは明らかに他のバンドとノリが、むしろ客のテンションが違うのね。まあ聴いてみてください。

地球外言語を炸裂してくれる<1>、ゆっくりと引き寄せて爆発させる<2>、突っ走って爆発させる<6>、キャッチーな代表曲<11>、穏やかな曲調にクソ重い歌詞をのせる<14>等素晴らしい曲が多いのですが、どの曲も重く不気味でポップさに欠けます。
とりあえず<2><6>あたりを聴いて気に入らなければKORNに見切りをつけたほうがいいと思われます。

1曲目と2曲目がkorn最骨頂といえるので、kornを受け入れられるか否かの
リトマス紙になります。

名曲ADDIDASも入っています。
