OzzyもコンサートのSE（オープニング）に使っていた"Fortuna"。Judas Priestが『Screaming For Vengeance』で"Helion"を、Acceptが『Restless & Wild』でSEを効果的に使っていたのが下敷きに成っていたのは間違いないが、この後のハードロック〜へヴィメタル系の、それも特にドイツ勢に影響を与えたという意味では、今作は８０年代の欧州のハードロックの大影響盤と言える。プロデューサーはTommy Hansen。言わずとしれた初期のHelloweenの影の立役者。ハードロックのアルバムの幕開けは印象的なSEが効果的、を決定付けた１枚...........というちょっとへそ曲がりに評価も出来る１枚。勿論、音楽的にも如何にも８０年代の欧州のハードロック〜へヴィメタルの名盤。このがむしゃらなパワー、それいて繊細なメロディは流石に北欧である。

爆走する7が最高。映画デモンズに使われていたのだけど、映画にピタリと嵌っていたのが印象的でした。モチロン1~2の流れも失禁必至です。

デンマーク出身のツインG＆Keyをフィーチュアした6人編成バンド、PRETTY MAIDS。
本作は'84年リリースの1stフルレンス･アルバムだ。

このアルバムは何と言ってもオープニングを飾る名曲"Back To Back"に尽きる。
ハードで勇壮で美しいこの曲は'80年代中盤のヘヴィ・メタルを語る上で欠かすことの出来ない重要な楽曲だ。

それ以外にも様々なタイプのキャッチーな楽曲が揃っており、音質の悪さに眼をつぶれば間違いなく楽しめる。
北欧メタルを語る上で必須の作品。
