　モーニング娘。の3人増員が話題を呼び、2ndシングル「サマーナイトタウン」は大ヒット。2匹目のドジョウを狙ったか、1人減員を企てた（笑）。元々は、ダンス経験の無い小湊に、集中的にダンス・レッスンをしたかったようだ。だが、やはりメンバーを辞めさせたという負のイメージが大きく、人気にブレーキが掛かってしまうことに。そんな「ASAYANの企画」で、このシングルだけ3人で出演中である。

　前作「Magic of Love」から12cmシングルに変わったにも関わらず、何故か8cmに戻っている。まだ導入初期で、マキシが定着していないとの市場判断だったのかも。

　ハッピーなコーラスから入り、ちょっと不思議な転調をする、技巧的な曲。ジャズ色を抑え、ハウスっぽい柔らかな電子音を導入。曲は良い。やはりキュートな小湊の声がないのが寂しいが、元々上手い人だけのグループなので、パフォーマンスはマル。

　次の曲から、つんくの「お遊び系ヘンテコ造語」路線になってしまうため、最後の本格派曲と言えるかも知れない。ちなみに、小湊はほどなく復帰。2ndアルバムでは、「4人に戻しました」ヴァージョンが聴ける。
