現在はモーニング娘。本体同様、お気楽パーティ路線に行ってしまったタンポポだが、初期は不似合いとも思えるほど、大人っぽいセクシーな曲調をしていた。でも、楽曲はこの頃の方が良かったな。デビュー曲「ラストキッス」です。真冬の富士山で撮影された、寒そうなジャケット。

初期のメンバーによる歌です。この曲はこの頃のモーニング娘。の歌と比べると、とても大人っぽい歌で、しっとりとした感じの歌で、｢聴かせるタイプの歌｣です。
いまのモーニング娘。達の歌う歌には無いタイプの歌だと思います。

タンポポは当初、石黒・飯田二人だけのユニットになる予定だったのだが、石黒の体調不良のため、グループ内オーディションを経た矢口を加え、三人のユニットに変更になる。そしてこの1st Singleがリリースされるのであるが、当時15才の矢口は石黒・飯田に負けることなく、アダルトでアーティスティックな第一期タンポポの一画を十分こなしている。第一期タンポポに対するノスタルジックな気持ちが影響しているせいもあるが、私にとってはいまだにこの曲がタンポポのMy Favorite Songである。哀愁感漂う歌詞・メロディーと、それマッチした石黒・飯田・矢口の歌がとても良い。石黒・飯田のみならず、矢口がこの手の曲を歌いこなしていることを、今の矢口しか知らない人には、想像出来ないだろう。なお、カップリング曲はボサノバ調であるが、捨て曲の感が強い。
