ある意味いろんな曲調にチャレンジした作品かな？と思います。
幼い頃にはしきりに初作曲の「Canarry」を聞きたかったものです。
今でもこの曲が大好きです。
アイドルでありながら、作曲にチャレンジした彼女の意欲がうかがわれます。
その後、他のアイドルが初めて作詞をしました！の火付け役ともなりましたが、
聖子ちゃんにはかなわない…そんな印象を受けたものです。

初めて聴いた松田聖子さんのアルバムでもあり、このアルバムを聴き、以降のアルバム完成を楽しみにするようになった記念の一枚でもある。
もともと歌に関してはうまいと思っていたが、単に「歌のうまい」ではなく、その才能を感じずにはいられなかったのを覚えている。
個人的には７曲目のＷＩＮＧ、１０曲目のＳＩＬＶＥＲＹ　ＭＯＯＮＬＩＧＨＴがお気に入り。
９曲目の蒼いフォトグラフは、石黒賢さん主演のドラマ「青が散る」の主題歌にもなっていました・・・・・・

これにスウィートメモリーズが入っていないのはホントに不思議。
ただ、「瞳はダイアモンド」を含む他の曲もJAZZYな雰囲気
とフレンチなキュートさを持った作品ばかりで
個人的にはこの路線が一番好きなのだが…　もう何千回も聴いてます。
マドンナみたいなアメリカンセクシーは似合わないと思うのだが？

歌い上げバラードでなくてしっとりとした曲をやってくれ~
もういいかげんトシなんだから・・・←今の聖子w
