なぜ浜省の音楽は私たちファンの心を捉えるのだろう、といつしか思う日々がありました、ついに悟りました、つまり浜省は人生を歌うからです、人の思春期からの淡く切ない思い出や私たちが感じている社会の本質を音楽を通じて表現する、しかもそれが物事の本質、心理をついているから、さらに上質のサウンドと独特の歌声がファンの心に響き、捉えて離さないのです、今尚、音楽シーンの第一線で活動しているそんな浜省のようなアーティストは彼以外にいない

　浜省の歴史を勝手に前・中・後期に分けると、本作は前期（ポップス時代）の最後の作品と位置付けられる。

　１曲目はシングルカットされるとともにTVCMに起用され、確か『○のヒットスタジオ』に本曲で出演し、ちょっとは売れたようである。しかしアルバム自体は余り売れず、本人曰く、「周りの意見を取り入れて作っても売れないんだったら、本当に好きなものを作ろう。」として発表したのが『Home Bound』である。それから『愛の世代の前に』などで徐々に評価を高め、『Promised Land』でトップ10入りを果たした。

　と、ここまで書くと、本作は駄作か？と思われるかも知れないが、その逆である。ポップス浜省の、試行錯誤を重ねて得たエッセンスが本作に集約されており、上質のポップスアルバムに仕上がっている。気分爽快あおぞらすこーんと抜けた１曲目。恋愛の切なさ、苦しさが胸に迫る5曲。7曲目はフジ系TVドラマ『北の国から』にも挿入歌として起用された。発表から10年以上経過していたが、それでも使われるのは、良い歌だからに他ならない。10曲目の本アルバムタイトル曲は、浜省全曲の中でも珠玉の作品である。

　浜省の歴史を前・中・後期にザックリ分けると、本作はポップス路線だった前期のエッセンスが集約したものであると思う。この後、『Home Bound』からは現在に至るスタイルになる。

　1曲目はTVCMに起用され、確か「○のヒットスタジオ」にもこの曲で出演したはず。ちょっとは売れたようである。しかしながら本作自体は余り売れず、本人曰く、どうせ周りの言うことをいろいろ聞いても売れないなら、好きなことをやってやれ、という思いで作ったのが『Home Bound』だそうである。そして『愛の世代の前に』等で徐々に評判を上げ、『Promised　Land』でついにベスト10入りを果たした。
　と、ここまで書くと本作は駄作か、思われるかも知れないが、決してそんなことはない。逆に、1曲１曲が試行錯誤の末のレベルの高さがうかがえ、素晴らしいポップスアルバムであると断言できる。陽があたらなかっただけなのだ。

　スコーンと抜けた青空を思わせる気分爽快な1曲目、恋愛の切なさと苦しさが胸に迫る5曲目、7曲目は『北の国から』に挿入歌として起用されたが、発表時から多分10年以上経過していたと思う。にも拘わらず起用されるのは、やっぱり良いからなのだ。最後の本作タイトル曲は、浜省全ての曲の中でも、珠玉の1作だと思う。
