１０代の頃とにかく聴きまくった懐かしの１枚です。

当時のお気に入りは　爽やかで心地よい「北風と太陽」
スピード感とノリがなんともいえない「ランディ・キャンディ」
切なく大人っぽい「一途な夜、無傷の朝」
超funkyな「薄情Love Machine」…などでしたが
どの曲もそれぞれハイクオリティーで全然聴き飽きませんでした。

今も好きですが、初期の久保田サウンドにはかなり衝撃を受けましたし
レビューを書いていて久々に聴きたくなってきました♪
天性のリズム感と声量が素晴らしく、とにかくカッコイイアルバムです。

1stアルバムの「Shake It Paradise」に比べても劣らない名作です！「北風と太陽」(某番組でナインティンナインの岡村が絶賛していた！）や「一途な夜、無傷な朝」、２０年前にすでにこんなFunkな曲をやっていたという「薄情Love Machine」、CMでも使われていた「永遠の翼」など、久保田クラシックがてんこ盛りです！あとなんといっても最後に入っている「八番目の虹の色」は隠れた名バラードです。もう涙がちょちょぎれるほどの名曲っす・・・。「La La La Love Song」も確かにいいけど、このころの久保田利伸も最高です。なんてったってシングルのA面(この表現も懐かしい・・）は１曲もないのにこのクオリティの高さですから・・・

とてもカッコイイ曲です。
ぜひ聴いてみてください。
「北風と太陽」は「KUBOJAH」にも収録されています。
そちらの方は今のご時勢に合っていて良いですよ。
