最近はTVに出ても非常に紳士なキーボー（上田正樹さん）ですが、このバンドの時はハッキリ言ってヤンチャ坊主丸出し！　何回かこの面子のライブにも行きましたが、客に媚びないエラそうな態度、MCは最高です（笑）　しかも演奏もすごいファンキーで上手い！　中西康治（現在も長渕などのバックで大活躍）のアーシーなオルガンとピアノ、有山じゅんじのイナたいラグタイムギター、くんちょうのファンキーなカッティングと黒いヴォーカル、正に地を這う藤井裕（今、キヨシローのバンドで活躍！）、ど迫力の正木ゴローのドラム、そして今のR&Bシンガーを寄せ付けないシャウトと歌いまわしのキーボー！　どれをとっても最高です！　客のノリも最高のこのライブは、再結成ですがパワーアップしていてミーターやルーファスのライブ盤に負けず劣らずの大傑作です。特にルーファストーマスのカヴァー3、有山最高の7以上disc1、日本funkの最高峰「むかでの錦三」disc2収録など必聴です！！

昔の「キー坊」ファンであれば絶品のアルバムです。とても泥臭くてなおかつファンキーな演奏とVOのオンパレード。そしてそして、ライブならではの熱気がビシビシと伝わってきます。

なつかしいサウスのメンバー、有山さん、くんちょうサン、五郎ちゃん、藤井さん、そして中西さんとキー坊。蘇ったサウスに酔いしれるひとときに、このアルバムは必ず浸ることができます。

Sam CookeのLive At The Harlem Square Clubを彷彿させる様な熱くてカッコイイーライブ。商業主義に走った彼がハーレムで黒人の血が騒いだ様に上田正樹も関西の地で切れてしまったんやね。ソウルミュージックと大阪弁が違和感無く絶妙にブレンドされめちゃめちゃ熱いライブになっています。決して公共の電波では流せない「Come on おばはん」。３番の歌詞があったんやね「とったらあかん」。強烈です。おこちゃまの前では聴けない名盤ですわ。
