チューリップの音楽をリアルタイムに聴いてきた50代です。学生時代に購入した2枚組みのベストアルバム（ＬＰ）は、本当に磨り減るほど聴いてきました。今、当時のオリジナルとは違う財津和夫のセルフカヴァーで歌われたこのＣＤを聴いています。どの曲もいとおしい名曲揃いです。チューリップ時代の曲と、ソロになってからの曲が交互に並んでいますが、時代の変化を感じさせないほど、「財津節」がどの曲からも溢れています。類稀なるメロディー・メイカーですね。また、ヴォーカリストとしてもいつまでも声が衰えません。少し鼻にかかった甘い声は、切ないラブソングの歌い手としては他では味わえません。「心の旅」「銀の指環」「ぼくがつくった愛のうた~いとしのEmily」「一人の部屋」「ハーモニー」「魔法の黄色い靴」「サボテンの花」等は、青春の思い出の曲です。姫野達也のボーカルで聴きなれたチューリップのオリジナルの雰囲気とは違いますが。このアレンジとサウンドも好きですよ。比較的最近の曲（それでも１０年程前になるのですが）の「Everlasting」「メルティング」も始めて聴きましたが、これらも温かい心が伝わるラブソングですね。彼の本質は変っていません。嬉しいかぎりでした。

　ラブリーエミリー、ららら・・。で始まる「ぼくがつくった愛のうた」
　財津和夫氏が歌う魅力以外に、コーラスで、伊豆田洋之氏が参加しているところがポイント。伊豆田氏は、ビートルズ世代で、財津氏のソロコンサートにも、参加し、最近は、ピカデリーサーカスで、シチューのＣＭソングを歌っていました。
　チューリップのオリジナルと聞き比べると、鑑賞する楽しみが倍増します。
