4.0 out of 5 stars ラム・チェンイン先生に捧ぐ, 2002/11/20
最初は弱っちかった主人公が修行を経て．．．といった類のストーリーで、
サモ・ハンと今は亡きラム・チェンイン先生とのコメディチックな絡みもあり、
更には時代劇設定ということで、70年代後半からの元祖カンフー映画路線です。
バトルシーンの時間も長く、そのあたりのファンの方には充分楽しめる内容だと思います。

アクションがとてもキレイな若さあふれるユン・ピョウもいいのですが、
ラム・チェンイン先生がとても輝いている映画だと思います。

（観終わった後、タイトルの持つ意味が少々切なく感じられるかもしれません。）

南拳の一大門派・詠春拳の第５代伝承者、梁二［女ヘンに弟］（レオン・イータイ）と唯一の弟子、第６代伝承者の梁賛（レオン・サン）の物語です。この手の作品は師匠が殺され弟子が修行の後、仇討ちするというアジア一帯でよく見られる展開なのである意味安心してみられます。レオン・イータイもレオン・サンも実在の人物ですが、サモハン演じるレオン・イータイの兄はストーリー同様フィクションです。詠春拳は梁賛→陳華順→葉問と伝承されて、かの李小龍も葉問に師事したことはつとに有名ですね。前半はユン・ピョウの“軽さ”が入門前の若々しい梁賛の役柄と非常にマッチしています。しかし前半だけなら間違いなく主役は林正英扮するレオン・イータイでしょう。立ち回りも詠春拳かどうかは別にして見事です。後半はユン・ピョウが物語の中心となっていきます。おびただしい殺戮の末に仇討ちで勝利するという重くなってもおかしくない内容ですが、ユン・ピョウの“軽さ”がこの作品を大いに救っています。ユン・ピョウ主演のの代表的名作です。
