少林サッカーが人気な昨今の日本。
しかし、かなり前にある意味もっと素敵なサッカー・クンフームービーがあった。
恐るべきはユン・ピョウを初めとする出演者の《CGではない》ボールの扱いの素晴らしさ。いやあ、ビックリです。
また、ラストがいつも弱いとされてる香港映画の常識を打ち破り、おかしくも、そして悲しいドキッとするラストシーンが秀逸。

かなり昔の映画ですが、古さは全然感じさせません。まさに数珠の一本。見てください。

おっDVDが出た、とさっそく観たのですが、「何か違う、盛り上がらない」と思ったらテーマ曲が当時と違っていました。確か当時、ユンピョウが「チャンピオン、ランララ、ランラララ、チャンピオン」とか歌っていたと思ったのですが・・・。映像や物語は一緒なので内容的には楽しめますが、違う映画を観ているような感じでした。私的に星５つの作品だと思いますが、思っていたものとちょっと違っていたので星３つです。

「猿拳」のときの身のこなしの軽さにも驚いたが
今回のサッカーするユンピョウにも驚き
やっぱ運動神経違うねー
ボールの曲芸的な扱いがなかなかかっこいい（当然CGなしです）

ストーリーは少林サッカーと似ていて
カンフーをしつつ身体を鍛えていたユンピョウが
街へ出てきて有名になるためサッカーを始めたら
実はうまくて、だんだん成功していくって感じ
でも、サッカーとは言っても審判も一人しかいない賭博サッカーなので
八百長、暴力が横行する、激しいサッカー
試合前夜に夜襲をかけたり
審判の眼を盗んで反則しまくったり、どついたり
とにかく敵のチームは汚い手を使いまくる

また、汚い手を使いまくるライバルサッカー選手をディックウェイが演じているのだが
この人は実際の大会で何度も優勝してるほどの格闘技の達人で
ジャッキー映画などでもよく悪役で出てくる（プロジェクトＡの海賊の親玉とか）
この人とユンピョウのカンフーサッカー対決もなかなかいい

それからオチは勧善懲悪なんですけど
「ここまでやるかぁー・・・？」という感じの
香港ならではのヤバイ残酷ギャグで終わります
日本人にはちょっと後味悪いかも・・・

あと、ヒロインのムーンリーはやっぱりカワイイ
僕のお気に入りの香港女優さんのひとりです
後々、アクション女優の道を突き進んで可哀想なことになっちゃうんですけど・・・(ｰｰ;)
