ジャッキーチェンが始めて、
「監督、脚本、武術指導、主役、主題歌」と
五役をこなし話題となった映画。

ジャッキーチェンの功夫映画（時代劇）の
集大成ともいえる作品だと思います。

功夫映画の物語は、ほとんどがワンパターンで仇討ちモノで、
そして功夫の技の紹介的映画になってしまいがちなのですが、
このヤングマスターは、物語がしっかりしており、
従来の功夫映画のイメージを変えた改革的な映画ではないでしょうか。

そして、やはり見どころは、ラストの海が見える丘での死闘。
水煙草を飲んで何故か無敵に…。（笑）

今やジャッキーはポリス系のアクションが多いですが、ここでは修行生として
出てきます。
この映画を見て思ったこと、
「昔のジャッキーはロン毛だったんだなぁ」
こんなことはおいておきましょう・・・・

今は懐かしき、ユン・ピョウとの共演・バトルなどといろいろと昔なりに（ちなみにこれ１９８０年にできた映画です）面白いところなどがたくさんあります。今と違ってアクションシーンがかなりあります。その中でも扇子を使ったは最高です。
しかも、最後のアクションシーンはかなり長いです。

相手のほうが、ジャッキーより強そうです。実際、本物の格闘家ですからね。
何はともあれ、最近の映画に飽きたという方この映画を見てはいかがですか？
