伝説のバンド、ドアーズ。ファンならば特に説明の要らない内容。
ジム・モリソンの伝記映画。
しかし、主演のヴァル・キルマーは、まるでモリソンが蘇ったのでは
と思うほどのソックリ度。特にボーカルは吹き換えをほとんど必要とし
なかったほどという。またステージでのアクションなどは、当時のデモ
フィルムを見るがごとく。
ファン必見！ファンじゃない人は？？

当時、映画館に見に行き・・・席を立つ時には“ヒッピー”状態でした（笑）
それから数年後、ＤＶＤの『ドアーズ』を買い、夜中に一人何度も見る
日々が続き・・・今では映画の全てが頭の中にあります。
オリバー・ストーンが此処まで時代背景を鮮明に映画化してくれた事を
感謝しつつ、モリスン役のヴァル・キルマーの頑張りに拍手です！
『トカゲ王・ジム　モリスン』のアダ名に傷がまったく付かない最高の
演技をしてくれたヴァル・キルマー。モリスン役が彼であった事に感謝。
映画の中にはジミ・ヘンが出てきたりヴェルベットアンダーグラウンド＆
ニコや各ミュージシャンのそっくりさんも出てきます。
６０年代のロックの時代背景を学ぶには最高の映画だと思います。
最後のシーンは忘れられません。

1960年代の西海岸ロックバンドのなかで特異な位置を占めるドアーズ、とくにそのヴォーカリストであったジム・モリソンのデビュー直前からその死までを（音楽ファンの間ではすでに有名な）エピソードでつづったオリバー・ストーン作品である。モリソン役のヴァル・キルマーはこの難解な人物をかなりの線まで良く演じていると筆者は思うし、まだ若かったメグ・ライアンも良い。また、ドアーズの他のメンバー達を演ずる俳優たちも好演。特に、マンザレク役のカイル・マクラクランが真面目な堅物ぶりで面白い。さらに、アンディ・ウイリアムスやビル・グラハムがチョイ役で出ているのもgood。ただし、ストーンの観念的・象徴的描写が多少鼻につくところもあり。

この頃のオリバーストーンは凄い勢いがありました。そんな中の傑作です。バルキルマーもジムにそっくりメグライアンも若くカワイイ
