私が天地無用を見たのがこの作品が最初なんですが、なかなか感動できます。
当時あまりこの作品のキャラ達の背景は知らなかったのですが、そんな人でも純粋に楽しめる作品、昔主人公天地のおじいちゃんに確か片思いした悪魔っぽいのが自分を忘れていることの腹いせに主人公天地の毛髪を盗みそこから天地の遺伝子をもった自分と天地の娘を作り出します。

そしてその子を天地のもとへ送らせたところから物語はスタートするのですが・・・
始めはアットホームな展開で最後はシリアスな展開となりエンディングの歌はタイトルにもありますが真夏のイヴ、名曲ですごくこの作品、作風にあっていて感動しました。

所詮アニメと食わず嫌いせず是非一度興味をもたれた方はレンタルなどでご覧になってみてください。

5.0 out of 5 stars 世界観と絵柄の割には、泣ける映画。, 2008/9/12
中２のとき、はじめて見た天地の作品が、この劇場版「真夏のイヴ」でした。
田舎でしたので、そもそも「天地無用！」の存在自体を知らず、また、背景となる設定も、当然何も知りませんでした。
それでも、「なかなか感動的だったな」という印象を覚え、その感覚だけは、忘れずに胸に残り続けていました。
そして、約１０年たち、もう一度、分析的な視点から、この作品を見てみると、様々なる点において、優れたところがあると分かりました。
まず、６０分という短い時間であるがゆえに、だれることなく、見ることができます。
「in Love2」は、名作だと思いますけれども、何度も見るには、厳しい点がありますが、この作品は、気軽に何度も見たい気持ちになります。
そして次に、心理描写が、とても巧みに描かれています。
歪んだ形でしか、愛情を示すことのできない由厨葉が、麻由華として自らを分離し、屈折した形で、伝え切れなかった気持ちを、再び伝えようとする。
麻由華を殺した由厨葉は、自らの愛情をも殺し、それを契機として、異形の姿に自らを変える。
また、精神的に未熟な麻由華（爪を噛むなどの仕草から分かる）が、短い触れ合いのなかでも、女性としても、自立性という点でも成長を遂げる点など。
絵柄は、OVAとも、TVシリーズとも異なるものですけれども、なかなか味わい深いように思えます。ただ、それが気に食わない方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。
永井真理子さんが歌う主題歌「真夏のイヴ」も、名曲で、この曲が流れると、不覚にも、涙が流れそうになります。

今回は天地無用!OVAシリーズを基本で作りましたの外伝ような話です。真夏のイブ樹雷の伝統、そして知らないの出会い。哀しみの過去直すの物語り。天地もう一つの映画。天地ファンならお勧めの作品です。
