　基本的に、劇場版「超時空要塞マクロス　愛・おぼえていますか」をベースに、名場面をリミックスしたような内容ですが、このビデオクリップの価値は、劇場版のその後のエピソードが描かれたシーンが収録されていることでしょう。アニメでは本作にしか登場しないＶＦ-４を駆る一条輝、メガロードの艦長を務める早瀬未沙、そして大人になったリン・ミンメイの姿は必見です！　初代マクロスのファンには永久保存版と言えるでしょう。

マクロスのその後がちょっとだけ分かります。
しかし何と言っても天使の絵の具でしょう。愛おぼえていますか完全版のEDでは1番がミンメイのLIVE映像で2番はテロップになっていましたが、ここでは2番にも映像が！
ミンメイファンは迷わず買い！かな？

愛おぼえていますか　公開当時、予算と製作期間の制限のため本来描かれるべきエンディングロールのシーケンスはなんとも味気なく真っ黒なままでした。
その数年後、幻のエンディングとして後日製作公開された映像が本作品のもとになっています。劇場版のアフターストーリーとしての意味合いとアニメーション初の本格的　music clip（を目指した？）というところで非常に貴重なものと言えるかも知れませんね。
