この映画の中に出てくる少年達はよく汗をかく。
汗をかき、時間はゆっくり、過ぎていく。
それが青春なのだと思う。

音楽と画像の合い方も、なんともいえない。
暑い中国とクラシック音楽。意外なようで、ものすごく絶妙な組み合わせ。

心の奥をくすぐってくれるいい映画です。

目を閉じて思い起こせる少年期の記憶、恐らく記憶のなかの人も状況も順序も入れ替わっていたり、曖昧だったりするけれど、ありし夏の日の強い光とそこに一枚ベールがかかったような印象がベースになり、淡々と想い出が綴られていく。誰しも経験があるような少年期の思い出とその中での記憶の曖昧さとが、これもまた美しい音楽の中で織りなされていて充足感を与えてくれる。単なる少年時代を描いただけではない、薄絹を幾重にも重ねたような丁寧さと美しさを感じさせる味わい深い映画です。

大人になると曖昧になってしまう昔の思い出、特に青春という美化してしまいがちなテーマをとても上手く表現している映画だと思います。この映画にでている少年たちはこの映画に出るまでド素人だったそうで、三ヶ月演技の特訓をしたそうですよ。
