スモークという映画のついで（？）に撮影されたそうです。スモークも見ましたが、こちらのほうが暇そうなたばこ屋さんのちょっと変わった日という感じでおもしろかったです。話の筋は特にないのですが、出てくるお客さんが個性的な人ばかりで、味がありました。何度も見てほんわかしたいです。

ジムジャームッシュ監督の「SMOKE」の設定をそのままに、P・オースターが監督。SMOKEの雰囲気とはちょっと変わって、タバコ屋主人に扮するハーベィの魅力爆発ですｗこんなタバコ屋行ってみたい。お客さんの中にジムジャームッシュが居たり、マイケルＪフォックスやマドンナが出てきたりｗそうそう、ルーリードも出てきますｗ何度観てもほんわかしてしまいます。内容的にはタバコ屋主人がリストラを宣告？されてからの数日間を描いているわけですが、非常に癒されます。なぜ？？
