この歌を聴いて私は父を思い出しました。
私が成人式を迎える４ヶ月前に亡くなった…

急にかかった病気…苦しんで逝った父…

"ありがとう"が伝えられなかった…

つけくわえるなら…

でも…貴方に会えない…感じることも叶わない…
もう少しだけ…側にいて欲しかった…

もしももう一度貴方に会えるなら、たった一言伝えたい…

「ありがとう」は、
この曲をきっかけに、KOKIAさんのファンになる人の多い名曲です。
飼っていた愛犬との永遠の別れをむかえたときに感じた、
心からの「ありがとう」をきっかけに生まれた曲だそうで、
こんなにも「ありがとう」という言葉を歌い伝える曲は、なかなか無いんじゃないかと思います。

聞いたとき思いっきり涙涙・・歌に涙するなんて初めてでした。
それだけ素敵な歌です。ぜひ聞いてください。
