好きな曲っていっぱいあるけど、この曲ほど大切にしてる曲は他にありません。
「一人でも私は生きられるけど、でも誰かとならば人生は遥かに違う。強気で強気で生きてる人ほど、些細な寂しさでつまづくものよ」
これは歌詞の一部ですが、この曲を初めて耳にした頃、私は自分や周りが嫌いで仕方のない人間でした。

本当に信じられるのは自分だけだと意地を張っていたし、妙に全て見透かしたフリをして、冷たく冷静な壁のある自分を作り出していたと思います。
そんな時、何気なく付けていたラジオから流れたのがこの曲でした。
心の何処かで寂しさに潰れそうになっていた私は、ただただ号泣しました。

心の奥のほうが締め付けられて･･･理由も解らず泣いたように記憶しています。
「生まれて!く!!れてウェルカム！」
この歌詞が優しく強く語り掛けていてくれたように思いました。

この曲には、生きていく強さと優しさとが詰まっているそんな気がします。

自分の思いを書いただけの乱文になってしまい申し訳ありません。

'92の「浅い眠り」の前に発売されたシングル。
ちょこっとしか売れていないけど、本当に本当に名作です。
初めて聞いたとき涙が止まりませんでした。

それは、多分、命の尊さを押し付けがましくなく、
教えられたからだと思います。自分がこの世に存在していいのだと
いう素晴らしい歌。また「でも誰かとならば人生ははるかに違う」

という一節で、人の大切さが胸に沁みます。

カップリングの「Maybe」も働きつづける女性への応援歌。
こちらも、すっごくよくよく分かります。

とにかく、彼女は人一倍前向きな生き方を教えてくれる人だと
私は思います。

この曲は確か犬の映画の主題歌になってた気がします。
3年前、ベスト盤をレンタルして初めてこの曲の存在を知りましたが、それ以降ずーっと聴いてます。
生きる勇気をもらえる素晴らしいバラードです。何回聴いても何回も感動してしまいます。やっぱりこの人は凄いなぁ…

自分が生まれてきた大切さがわかる「誕生」。
元気が出てくる「Ｍａｙ　ｂｅ」。
人生の大切さが伝わってくる。生きる勇気が湧いてくる。
