「ハーメルンのバイオリン弾き」のサントラ第３弾。有名なクラシック曲がいくつか収録されています。オリジナルの『今はいない子供のための子守唄』はオススメ。綺麗なソプラノが心地いいです。
ここまでクラシックが合うアニメは他にありません。

このＣＤに収録されている「二つの道」は本編中いたるところで使われた曲。
そしてこれぞハーメルンのテーマソングなのではないかと思うぐらいにぴったりな曲です。
最終回でフルートがハーメルを箱に閉じ込めた時、ハーメルと共に過ごした日々の記憶を思い出します。
あのとき、フルートはなにを想っていたのか。
彼女がどんな想いでハーメルを箱に閉じ込めたのかと考えると、切なくて心がぎゅってなってしまう。
ハーメルンのバイオリン弾きボーカル全集で、ハーメルとフルートがこの曲をベースにした「それが絆の強さ」という歌も歌っています。
こちらもかなりオススメです。
愛すること、知ること、想いを貫くこと。
永遠という言葉がこれほど合う作品は他にありません。

　中身はどうやら１・２から漏れた曲とか、最後の方は魔曲のソロ版（ハーメルのものとサイザーのもの）だそうです。
　オリジナル曲については漏れた、とは言っても、実はめちゃくちゃよく使われた曲もあり、また貴重な和みシーンとかおふざけシーンでの使用曲も。もちろんクオリティが低いわけではありません。が、多分１と２に力こもったヤツを使っちゃっていると思うんで、買うなら３ではなく１か２のほうがいいと思われます。

　ハーメルとサイザーのソロは、たぶん魔曲のバイオリン・フルートパートを抜き出しているだけだと思うんですけど・・。あえてソロを入れたのは、実際物語り中では一人で演奏しているからほんとーはこんなかんじなんだぞ！という、ファンサービスかな。

　ブックレットには田中公平氏のコメントが見開き１ページあり、クラシックをテーマにしたこの作品にかなりの熱意と思い入れがあった様子がうかがえます。 田中氏ファンなら読む価値あるかも。
　ブックレットにはその他に最終話エンディングの原画があって、なかなかマニアックでした。
