構成は半分田中氏のオリジナルBGMで、半分はクラシックの名曲をオリジナルアレンジした「魔曲」が入ってるって感じです。
オリジナルの曲もかなり豪華で壮大な構成、ワンピとかサクラ大戦の音楽を聴いて感じていた田中氏のイメージから感じからすると、楽器のかんじとか雰囲気が意外な曲もあるなあと感じました。完成度の高い曲揃いで聴く価値あると思います。ただシナリオ内容が暗かったので、音楽も暗くて重いです。

魔曲は登場キャラクターによる演奏という設定のもとに作られているので、そのせいもあってオリジナルのアレンジが加えられています。たとえばオケで演奏する曲がピアノ一つだけで演奏したりとか。そういう縮小アレンジ以外にも、拡大的なアレンジもあり・・・基本的には大変有名な曲ばっかりなので、耳慣れたあの編曲ではない、イメージを壊さないながらも面白いアレンジはクラシックファンでも楽しめると思います。
サントラは１〜３までありますが、魔曲がお目当てなら１か２がオススメ。

ブックレットには設定画があってファンにはなかなかお得な内容だと思います。

聴いているとハーメルンの世界が広がります。世界の名曲をキャラが演奏している特別バージョンもありますし。それにOP＆EDが最高です。歌詞もメロディーも話を知っている人なら感動できるでしょう！

楽曲の良さも然ることながら、

個人的にブックレットの設定画がかなりツボです☆

いまや設定資料集は入手困難ですから。。。
