すべての曲の歌詞に「涙」という言葉が出てくることからタイトルがつけられた「Tears」、フミヤが持つ世界観を見事に表現しきっていると思います。
最初から最後まで捨て曲がない彼の最高傑作だと思います。
イチオシは「サンシャイン」ですね。

前作「Ｒ＆Ｒ」の路線はビジュアルも行き過ぎちゃって（というか時代を先取り過ぎた）最高の作品だったのに、フミヤの意気込みがここまで世間に認められなかったのを初めて見ました。
その反省からラブソングを歌うことになって「ＴＥＡＲＳ」となりますが、最初はあまり守りにいって欲しくないなってありました。「Ａｎｏｔｈｅｒ　Ｏｒｉｏｎ」が大ヒットしたのはいいのですが、こればっかじゃフミヤらしくないと思ってました。
アルバム聴いて安心しました。確かに前作より攻めの部分は減ったけど、守りばかりのアルバムでなかったからです。むしろ色々なラブソングがあっておもしろいです。これがフミヤらしいですね。しかしこのアルバムで今までに無い大人のフミヤを感じました。
「魔法の手」はライブでとても人気があります。久々にポップなアイドルサウンドっぽいですね。
何と言ってもアルバムには「ＧＩＲＬ　ＦＲＩＥＮＤ」「Ａｎｏｔｈｅｒ　Ｏｒｉｏｎ」「Ｐｅａｃｅ」「Ｆｉｒｓｔ　Ｌｏｖｅ」「Ｓｔｙｌｅ」「ＭＹ　ＰＬＡＮＥＴ」とテレビのタイアップになった作品が多いですね。
最後の「ＭＹ　ＰＬＡＮＥＴ」のＣＭはほのぼのしてて好きでした。これは何とチェッカーズ大土井裕二の作曲で、裕二らしさ１００％のやさしい曲です。
今となって思いますが、それから１０年後の「ＷＩＴＨ　ＴＨＥ　ＲＡＷＧＵＮＳ」の先輩っぽいアルバムですね。リリースされた時期も似てるし、全体的にロマンティックな作品に出来てます。
