たとえAmazonになかろうとも、11/4現在マーケットプレイスで、それも定価より安い値段で出品されていることを、このアルバムのページにアクセスした人は感謝するべきなのではないだろうか？

少なくとも、僕にとってはこの「アイヴィー」はそんなアルバムだ。

日本のアシッドフォークの最高峰であり、徳永憲一流のユーモアやブラックな視点がふんだんに織り込まれており、そして、表面をそれらで巧妙に隠蔽した、しかし、そんじょそこらのロックアーティストなんぞには及びもつかないような真摯な激情もそこかしこに散見される。アルバムの最後を飾る「アイヴィー」などは個人的にはいつ聴いてもはっとして居住まいを正してしまうような緊張感に満ち満ちている。

渡辺等やまだPolarisなどで名を上げる前の坂田学などの凄腕たちのサポートも見逃せない。


万人にオススメできるアルバムではないのは百も承知の上で、それでも強くプッシュしたいアルバムだ。
