バラードのイメージが強いフミヤ君。もちろんこのアルバムでも切ないバラードを聞かせてくれる。力強いﾛｯｸがこの作品ではがんがんでてきて、バラードとの相乗効果でアルバム全体をもりあげてる。フミヤの作品の中でもこれ程アップダウンのいい作品はそうはないと思う。聞けば聞く程味がでる曲ばかり。

ソロになって４作目となるアルバム。
前作３作まではタイトルに沿ったアルバム作りをしてきたフミヤ。このアルバムはシングルを作るつもりで溜まっていった曲をまとめた作品。前年の「Ａｎｏｔｈｅｒ　Ｏｒｉｏｎ」の成功があり、スタンダードな部分を更に追求したアルバムです。
この後にＦ−ＢＬＯＯＤに入ってしまうので、初期の総括みたいな作品に思います。
シングルを作るつもりでという目的で作られただけあって、いい曲が多いです。
「ＡＬＩＶＥ」は中でも群を抜いて名曲で、ファンの中でもベスト３に入るのではないでしょうか？
「耳元のアイツ」「ヘブンの入り口」はライブで定番です。
ブラザーコン作曲の「真夜中の歩道」でソロになって初めて黒っぽい作品。
得意のバラードも当然あります。でもシングルでドラマ主題歌になった「ＤＯ　ＮＯＴ」も「ＲＡＩＮ　ＳＴＯＲＹ」もファルセットとたくさん使った新しい感覚のバラードでした。
フミヤらしく新しいカラーもちゃんと入れてます。僕が一番におすすめするのは尚之作曲の「ＭＹ　ＴＹＰＥ」でクールな歌い方がめちゃくちゃかっこいいです。「ＤＯ　ＮＯＴ」をテレビで歌ってた時はアフロヘアーでしたが、その時に「ＭＹ　ＴＹＰＥ」歌えば面白かったかも？フミヤらしい曲だしエロカッコイイって奴です。

何年経過しても飽きない作品の一枚です。まずトラック１にＡＬＩＶＥを持ってくるのも新鮮ですね。これは私個人的応援歌でもありますがライブでも、ラストに持ってきたりとかなり意味のある歌。歌詞も前向きでメロディーラインも心地よく大好き！！

と今度はバラードで聴かせてもらい、テンポアップし気分は上昇したりとお得な感じ。
あっという間に聴き終わるアルバムです。
とってもキュートなアルバムであり格好良さもあり、お勧めです。

最後に『ヘブンの入り口』で終わるのもなんだかライブみたい。このセットリスト好きです。
