bonniepinkの代表曲、heaven's kitchenから始まり、おしゃれな曲のたくさんつまっためちゃくちゃおいしい一枚。彼女のセンスのよさがぎっしり詰め込まれています。なんでもトーレヨハンソンのところに彼女が自分自身で売り込みにいったとか。そのせいもあってか、一枚目のアルバムとは明らかに彼女の歌う声がちがっています。彼女の音楽に対する熱心さがこのエピソードからも伺えます。私がこのアルバムを知ったのは5年前。しかしながら今聞いてもこんな曲を作った若い女の子がよくいるもんだと聞きいるばかりです。

つまり「こんな音楽が作れる日本人が、いたのねっ」。ドライで、ライトで、しかしメロディーは洗練されている。
スウェディッシュポップの立役者のプロデュースながらにスウェディッシュをばりばりに意識せず、クールに自分の世界を作り出しているといった感じがある。歌だけでなく、バンドの音一つ一つ聞いても骨の随にしみこんでくる、そんなアルバム。

　何十年たって聞き直しても廃れない音楽だと思います。
それはセンスだったり歌声だったり…

　この頃はまだ荒削りな感じがしてそれが又よかったりと、始めて聞いたときに他のアーティストとは違う何かを感じたりしたアルバム。
