90年発表のアルフィークラッシックスから６年ぶりの第２弾、アルフィークラッシックス２が本作である。前回と同じくプロデュースとアレンジは服部克久氏とアルフィーとの共同であるが、前作との大きな違いはメンバーのボーカルがフューチャーされている曲(1、2、5、8、10)が増えたことであろう。その他にも、混声合唱団がメインの曲があったり、メインのメロディーを高見沢のギターで歌わせている曲があるのも今回初の試みで、アレンジに幅を持たせてある。どのパターンもうまくアレンジされているので、前回同様全く違和感なく仕上がっており、服部氏のセンスの良さを感じさせる。このアルバムの完成度の高さは１曲目の「まだ見ぬ君への愛の詩」を聞くだけで充分理解できるであろう。おおらかなチャイ!コフスキーのメロディーから始まり、気がつくと高見沢のボーカルが歌う耳慣れたメロディーにつながっている。クラッシックに詳しい人はもそうでない人も、時間も空間も越えたこのアルバムを是非聴いてみてください。

クラシックと自分達の楽曲との融合がマッチしてて
流石タカミー！！と思いました。

すごく合ってるし、クラシック好きな私にはたまらん
一枚です。逆にクラシック聴いてるとアルフィーの曲に
繋がりそうで・・・（笑）
オススメはムソルグスキーの禿山の一夜・幻夜祭とあとは
ＬＯＶＥとの融合かな。
幻夜祭のあの声楽にヤラレました！！大好きああゆうの♪
是非是非ライブでもやってほしい音楽！”買い”ですぜっ
