このバンドはだいぶん前に一度テレビに出ていたのを見て好きになりました！
こんな音楽があったんだと感動させてくれた曲がこのアルバムには入っていて、気に入っています。
それは９曲目の『ストロベリー・ダンス・アワー』
あるテレビ番組のオープニング飾っている曲ですが数倍かっこいいです！
ブラスバンドの名の通りブラスの良さがつまっています。

5.0 out of 5 stars 正統派ニューオーリンズ・セカンドライン・ファンクなデビュー作, 2006/8/13
あれよあれよと言う間に人気が出た感があるが、これがメジャーデビュー作。

スーザフォンとドラムスのリズムセクションがいやがうえにもニューオーリンズ気分をかきたてる本格派のセカンドラインファンク。Dirty Dozen Brass Band あたりを彷彿とさせるダンサブルでパワフルな作品で、初心者からマニアまで満足できると思う。

掛け声とかは入っているが基本的に全編インスト。
この後、大物とのセッションやニューオーリンズにこだわらないバラエティに富んだ曲も取り入れていくが原点を見失わない彼らの出発点という意味でも一聴の価値あり。
