全体的に雰囲気は安っぽいんですが
安さ以上に息つく暇の無い速さで
１４曲が演奏されます。
収録時間は３５分くらいですが
一切休めません。
出来立てのごはんをガツガツと食べるような
感覚に陥ってしまうこと間違い無しです！

　現在俳優としても知られる陣内孝則率いるメンタイビートバンドＴＨe ROCKERSの１９８０年に発売になった１ｓｔアルバム、本来オーデションで持ち時間５分に４曲プレイするという離れ業をやってのけ、そのスピード感を買われデビューに至る、そして映画では触れていませんが著書アメージング・グレースで語っている通り成田の観福寺の本堂に録音機材を持ち込みライブ録音したアルバムでライブバンドとして鍛え上げてきたＲＯＣＫＥＲＳの本質をよく表していると思います、とは言え恐らく予算も少なくたいした機材も使用してないだろうし、ＣＤ化にあたってデジタルリマスタリングもしてないので今聴くと音が安っぽいので少々難ありかと思います、更に今思えばＹＡＲＤＢＩＲＤＳの１ｓｔの様にデビューでいきなりライブアルバムを出していたらまた評価も変わっていただろうし僕の知る限りではデビューアルバムでいきなりライブアルバムを出した日本のバンドを知りませんのでＲＯＣＫＥＲＳが最適だったのではないでしょうか？

個人的にはHEY DJ!やショックゲームが好きです。ロッカーズを知らない人はDVDを最初に見てもいいと思います。今でも全然通用する歌！時代が彼らに追いついた・・・正にそのとーりって納得できると思います
