地味と言えば地味なんですが、谷山浩子のアルバムの中で一番好きなのがこれです。
悔しい時には「猫が行く」、元気な時には「草の上」、のんびりした時には「FU・SHI・GI」。
LPで言うとB面の構成がまた良いのですねえ、これが。一人の時には「春の国」。

ここは、ここは、春の国。寂しい、寂しい、春の国。

谷山浩子さんのサウンドは、大きく石井前、石井後に分かれると思います。石井ＡＱ氏がシンセサイザーで参加する前の素朴なサウンドには、草の上にあおむけに寝ころぶような心地よさがあると思います。前半は、綿の国星の絵本「昼の夢夜の夢」をモチーフにした組曲になっています。

先日ねこぢるの本の表紙に、「あれ、今何考えてたんだっけ」っていうせりふを見たときに「ＦＵ・ＳＨＩ・ＧＩ」の歌詞の「それが今思い出せない」っていうところを思い出してしまいました。谷山浩子さんの歌詞には「思い出せない」という言葉が非常によく出てきます。「ＦＵ・ＳＨＩ・ＧＩ」は「思い出せない」という感覚そのものを歌った歌として、押さえておくといいのではないでしょうか。
