うる星映画第一弾！
ラムちゃんの一途な気持ちが特に良く出ている作品です。
あたるがラムのもとを去りエル星へ向かった後、一度は
あたるを忘れようとするラムですがやはり忘れる事が出来ない。
切ない恋心を表した作品だと思います。絵自体は初期のキャラ
ですが当時うる星ファンだった人なら絶対に見た作品ですよね。

「あたるはラムを嫌がってるようでやっぱり好きなんだな」っと思わせる作品です！
ラムが危なかった時も思わず「ラム！」と叫んで泣きそうになってたし、あたるが捕まった時に
あたるはラムのことを思い泣いてました（←こんな感動のシーンでもさりげない笑いがあるのもグッド!!）

「やっぱりあたるとラムは愛し合ってるんだな」と確認させる一品です！笑いもあります！

押井氏は悔恨し、原作者である高橋留美子女史は絶賛した劇場版第一作目。

押井氏は次作で鬱憤をはらしビューティフルドリーマーを作り上げる。

しかし、高橋女史は渋面の面持ちだった。
本作品とビューティフルドリーマーは二人の性質の違いをよく現している。

うる星に対する二人の想いがすれ違う形ではあるが、2作品共に傑作である事は間違いない。

しかし、判り易さで言えば断然に本作に軍配が上がるだろう。

うる星やつら入門編として最適なアイテム。
