とにかく、最初の「ワンダー・トリップ・ラヴァー」からグッと心にくるものがあり、名曲の一つと思います。かしぶちてつろう氏のアレンジは当時は好きになれませんでしたが、今聴いてみると鮮やかさがとても素敵に思います。なお、本アルバムは赤（ピンク）の基調とヴィーナスの雰囲気から相当明るいイメージを最初抱いたのですが、彼女の最後のアルバムだからという事情を除いても、少々暗い感じがしてなりません。特に最後の愛のコロニーは、寂しい内にすっと消えてしまいそうな感じがします。しかし、彼女の作品に凡作はなく、未だに色あせないで聴くことができるのは、このアルバムを含めた全作品の完成度の高さを表していると思います。

意外に暗いトーンで愛の姿を歌う彼女。濃厚なチョコレートのような作品。クオリティは高い。でも初期の学園ものが好きだったファンには辛いかも。個人的にはもっと進化して欲しかった。余談だが、一曲目はコード進行から小室哲哉作品だと勘違いしてたが、坂本龍一作品でした。
