2枚に分けてリリースされたカヴァー曲集に続いて、1年半月ぶりのリリースとなるオリジナル・アルバム。タイトルは、スティーヴ・ジャンセン、鈴木慶一、山本耀司、高野寛、まりん、そしてレーベル・メイトの和田純子、森脇松平といった同年代および下の世代の“バカ仲間”たちとのコラボレーションで作られていることからきたもの。
打ち込みメインによる“時代に逆行した”音づくり、ロマンティックでありながらもユーモラスな歌詞など、YMO時代から続くユキヒロ・ワールドの集大成であり、ミレニアムに向けてのひとつの時代の終わりと、新たな時代に向かう意志を込めた記念碑のようでさえある。打ち込みによる多彩でグルーヴィなリズムとヴォーカルのコンビネーションには、テクノとポップスへの深い愛情と、彼にしか作ることのできないサウンドへの自信が感じられる。ある面で、高橋幸宏こそがYMOだったことも再確認できるはずの傑作。 (鈴木祐) --- 1999年11月号

まさに、気が合う仲間たちと一緒に、楽しんで作ったというような感じのアルバムです。打ち込みにこだわった曲作りになっていますが（「ナマモノ厳禁」だそうです）、決してそれは冷たくなく、人間味溢れる暖かい音作りになっています。なにかと、打ち込みで曲が作られるこのご時世、打ち込みの定型となるべきものを提示した点でも、特筆すべきものがあります。高橋幸宏の懐の深さを再認識した１枚です。
