まずはやっぱり、小川みき。３曲ともいいが、特に「燃える渚」は《筒美京平作品・裏ベストテン》みたいな私的ランキングを出すことになったなら、まず上位に来ることは間違いない超名曲であり、ぜひ一聴をおすすめしたい（小川みき単独のコンプリート・ベストも待たれるところだが…）。コレクター人気が高く、京平さんもとりわけ力を入れていたというチェルシア・チャンの３曲もいい。ポップス路線（「今夜かしら…」）でデビューするも、売れ行きがいまひとつだったこともあり結果、単発提供となったテレサ・テンが、もし「今夜かしら…」以降も京平さんの曲を歌っていたなら、彼女のような路線だったのだろうか……？、なんてことも、ちょっと思ったり。早見優も４曲だけとはいえ、もはやこれだけでミニベスト状態。となると、柏原芳恵ももう少し聴きたかったところだが、Ｋとブルンネン→朝倉理恵、と歌い継がれ、三度目の正直でようやくヒットらしいヒットとなった「あの場所から」が、シングルと同じアレンジで聴けたのには、思わず涙、ナミダ（以前、彼女のベストCDを聴いたら、別アレンジのアルバム・ヴァージョンだったのだ）……。

小川みきの『燃える渚』のＣＤを探していたんですが、やっと見つけました！
ずっと探していたのですが、どこを探してもなかなかなくって、な、な、なんとありました。
レコードでは持っていたんですが、ＣＤでも欲しくって。
どの曲も当時が思い出されて、もう感激でした！

特に個人的には、やっぱり小川みきの『燃える渚』、『甘い出来事』
そしてこれも欲しかったテレサ・テンの『今夜かしら明日かしら』は最高です。
しかし、筒美京平って人はあらためて凄い人だ。
