谷村新司を知るには、この一枚が入門編となるでしょう。
大ヒット曲の昴を始め、「群青」「三都物語」「階」などのヒット曲のほか、デュエット曲の「忘れていいの」や「サライ」もデュエットバージョンが収録されており、楽しんで聞くことが出来ます。
その他にもカラオケ定番の「22歳」「陽はまた昇る」「Far awy」「浪漫鉄道」なども収録されており、リリース年は少し古いですが、手軽に楽しめる現時点での事実上のベスト版となっています。
若い人はもとより、フォークソング世代にもお奨めの1枚です。

チンペイこと谷村新司さんの曲を聴くと、昔、ばんばひろふみさんとDJ
をやっていたMBS「ヤングタウン」を思い出しますし、この番組で、チ
ンペイのエロ・ギャグがめっちゃ面白かったし、この番組で昭和40年代生まれの者
にとっては、性的知識を沢山吸収させてもらいましたので、チンペイさんには、
おおきにと言いたいです。
あと、性知識の勉強は、ドクトル・チエコ先生にもお世話になりましたわ〜！！！(笑)

チンペイで好きな曲は、山口百恵さんに曲を提供した「いい日旅立
ち」、「三都物語」、加山雄三さんとのデュエット曲「サライ」や中年
世代のカラオケのレパートリーの代表格の曲「昴」、「Far Away」、
「22歳」、アリス時代の曲「チャンピオン」などが、めっちゃ気に
入っていまっせ〜！！！

また、バンバンとは別のラジオ番組「セイ・ヤング」（大阪ではABC「ヤング・
リクエスト」と言うラジオ番組の中）で、オープニング曲の「燃えろ！
ドラゴン」のアチョーと言う軽快なリズムに乗せて始まる「天才、秀才、バカ」と言う
コーナーもめっちゃ楽しかったですし、ここでもチンペイさんの下ネタがめっちゃ炸裂で、
めっちゃおもろかったですなぁ〜！！！(笑)

谷村新司さんは、ロック・キャンディーズ時代、アリス時代、ソロ以降と、どれを採って
も、言う事無しの最高のアーティストである。

あ〜、めっちゃ懐かしいなぁ〜！！！！！
