私が黛の音楽を初めて聴いたのは映画音楽の天地創造だった。（このＣＤには未収録です）
それからその美学に傾倒しいろいろ聞きました。
世俗的なものを持ち込んで作曲しても
そこに見え隠れするセンスそして先進的で実験的な姿勢には、
彼の生涯変わるところの無かったものと思う。
このCDは、比較的世俗と現代的なセンスが同時にうかがえるものでしょう。

あまり出版の無い楽曲ばかりなのでファンにはうれしいでしょう。

　黛敏郎が手掛けた映画音楽（その数190本！）の中から13本のテーマ曲などを
収録したLP盤をCD化したものです。

　前衛ながらも、今の所謂現代音楽家と違って、普通の人にも聴ける曲を書いて
きた黛敏郎という人は、こういう仕事もこなせたから、前述したような作風
だったのでは、と思うのです。少なからず当時の映画は大衆の為の娯楽だった
のですから。

　涅槃交響曲や曼荼羅交響曲と言った、一部の有名曲を除くと、氏の音楽は
その出来具合に反比例するかのように入手するのが困難です。収録曲が全て
名曲だとは言いませんが、氏の音楽に興味を持っている人、そして聴ける現代
音楽を探している人にはお勧め出来る一枚です。

　個人的にはやはり「東京オリンピック」を一押ししたい。
