この人の才能、凄い。楽曲の完成度やオリジナリティやアレンジ、今聴いても聞き惚れます。既成のアーティストで例えると、和製ケイト・ブッシュが黒人音楽へのアプローチをしているとでもいうべきか。このＣＤを機会に彼女の他のＣＤを聴きましたが全然作風が違うので、彼女の作品では異色作です。多分規制なしで思いのままやったのかなあ。従来のコアなファンはどう評価しているかわかりませんが、私は珠玉作と思います。でも、この楽曲を歌うには声質が邪魔をしている。歌唱力があっても線の細い声質なのです。。高いキーのところは生理的に駄目な人もいるかも。誰か声質が太めでかつ繊細な歌唱力をもった歌手がこのアルバムの楽曲をカバーしてくれないか、というのが私の願いです。
