オリジナル曲もそうだが、洋楽カバー曲の編曲は本当に日本人好み。
Sugar Baby Love、愛が止まらない、Sexy Music、夜にはぐれて等は、原曲のよさをいかしつつ重低音をきかしたアレンジとなっている。
途中「どうした？」という曲もあるのも事実だが、オリジナル曲もいい曲が多い。
振り付け・衣装などビジュアル面だけでなく、曲そのものまで丁寧に作られていた事を実感する。

ＷＩＮＫのお二人、歌はうまい。
「え〜？」と思う方！！
カラオケで歌ってみると、ほとんどの曲が意外にも難しい。
丁寧に歌わなければ童謡のようになってしまう、隠し音のようなものが存在する。
自分の声質を生かした歌い方と丁寧な節回し。
そこはさすがプロである。

ＷＩＮＫのデビューは１９８８年、アイドルグループおニャン子が解散したのは前年であった。時代の流れか、それ以後は急速にアイドルが低迷期に入ることになる。一説にはおニャン子のように素人グループが次々にチャートインした事でアイドル神話が崩壊したのが一因ともいわれる。

そのようなアイドル不毛の時代であった９０年前後を駆け抜けたアイドルデュオこそがＷＩＮＫだ。ＷＩＮＫは清楚さを兼ね備えた正統派アイドルではあったが、それまでの８０年代までの正統派アイドルにみたれたようなファンに愛想を振りまいたんのと少々異なっていた。いわゆる無感情的なスタンスを当時は貫いていて、人形のようだとも言われていた。

が、そのようなスタンスとは裏腹にチャートで次々と上位にランクインした時のアイドル不毛時代としては異例ともいうべき５０万近いセールスを連発した。新しい時代に新しいアイドルのスタイルが確立された感じだ。

後半はセールス的な衰えは否めなかったが、８年間の活躍というのはアイドルデュオとしては驚異的であり、アイドルの系譜に１つの時代を刻んだのは確かだ。

活動前期は解説にもあるようにユーロ系を主体とした比較的ノリの良い曲が多い、が彼女達のキャラクターのせいなのか寂しいメロディーが多い。ＤＩＳＫ１の１・２はまだブレイク前で知名度は低いがカバー曲だったりバラードだったりと普通のアイドルと違った売り出し方をしていた所が興味深い。３のあいが止まらない以降はご存知の名曲ばかりだ。

ＤＩＳＫ２は知名度がやや低い後期の曲が多いが、７は名バラードだ。
音質も勿論折り紙つき。
アイドルの系譜を語る上で必ず押さえておきたいアイドルだ。

Winkの集大成!懐かしさはあっても。今聴いても古くない!

曲のジャンルも驚くほど幅広く、さっちんのクリスタルヴォイスと翔子のまったり感♪二人のハーモニーも様々な表情があって素敵です♪

何より聴いていて疲れません♪
シングルベストにひけを取らないC/Wベスト『Back To Front』と合わせて聴くと更に世界が広がります(^-^)/
押さえておくべきベストです☆
