トラットリア所属だった彼らがトラットリアで一番初めにリリースしたマキシ・シングルがこの作品です。全てが良いのですが、特に2曲目のシンバル・ヒットは聴いた瞬間に好きになってしまって、「これを待っていたんだ！」と思わせてくれる素晴らしい曲です。既に解散してしまった彼らですが、この作品は発売から数年経った今でもキラキラしています！

が入っているCD。
トラットリアのコンピにもはいってたしおそらくシトラスで一番有名な曲なはず。
ふざけてるかんじなのにしぬほど良い。
シトラスはさいこう。

砂場的と表されたシトラス、その独特のスタンスは規模の小さいバンドながら根強いファンに支えられていました。かくいう私もその一人。音源の少なさ、その飢餓感から狂ったようにCDを探し回ったものです。この出世作のboat.drive inすでにシトラス磁場が完成しておりポップ精度の高いCymbalHitを柱に、お楽しみ会のようなこじんまりしたパーティー感に満ちています。中でもSunburst in my paintboxはインディーズ時代の名残を聴かせてくれます。
