~自分もフリッパーズ・ギターは「知った時には解散していた」バンド。しかもどうやら二度と復活はないみたい。そう知りながら聴くライブ・テイクは、楽しくもあり、なぜか懐かしくもあり、そして羨ましくあります。

コーネリアスやオザケンからフリッパーズに戻った世代の人たち（自分も含め）、マーチのＣＭからフリッパーズ・ギターを知った人たち、どんな世代の人にも懐かしく、そして、うらやましく思えると思います。~

これはもう魔法だな。

結局のところ、僕たちは天才、小沢健二の手のひらの上で遊ばされていたんだ。
それはお洒落で、カッコよくて、文学的でもあって、知的好奇心をくすぐられる、強烈な魔力的魅力にあふれた場所だった。

ここではない何処か。
地図にはない夢のような世界をフリッパーズギターは僕たちに教えてくれたんだ。
サンバパレードの華やかな陽。バスルームで髪を切ること。
少年たちはトリコに火を放つ!

フリッパーズギターの魔法はまだまだ健在で、僕の生活に色彩とお洒落に生きることの意味をあたえてくれる。
このアルバム聴くといつも思うこと。
ライブの会場にいて、歴史をともに刻みたかった!
